TCB

Additional information

Developed in the early 1900s, this historical building was named and built by one of Brisbane's most influential people Sir Thomas Charles Beirne. In the past this building served as an icon and landmark of all Brisbane's shopping needs from David Jones to Myers.

The centre is strategically located in the centre of both Brunswick Street and Duncan Street, where it acts as an access point to both Chinatown and Brunswick Street mall. Today the TC Beirne Centre is known as TCB, a new and revolutionary fashion mecca in the heart of Fortitude Valley. The ground floor of the newly developed TCB Centre consist of 20 trendy and hip fashion boutique shops as well as 10 food tenancies, ranging from fast and healthy takeaways to formal dining restaurants.

The remaining upper levels of TCB serve as commercial offices for the Brisbane City Council. Over 13,000 square metres of prime real estate commercial offices lie within the upper levels of the centre.
